  .

IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO PASS A SCHOOL BUS EVEN IF UNDER LIGHTS AND SIRENS. IF YOU HAVE THE PERMISSION OF THE DRIVER ( he or she has turned their lights off,) THEN AND ONLY THEN YOU CAN PASS. DONT GET CAUGHT SHORT, YOU WILL LOSE MORE THAN YOU WANT.

PA VEHICLE CODE STATES UNDER CHAPTER 175.68,para 4: No Object or material shall be hung from the rear view mirror and NO object or material shall be hung, placed or attached in such postion as to materially obstruct, obscure or impair drivers vision through windshield or in any manner construe a safety hazard.

INFORM (politely) that it is ILLEGAL (according to PENNSYLVANIA LAW) to drive THROUGH an accident scene, UNLESS DIRECTED TO DO SO , and then have it done SAFELY.

FOR THOSE OF YOU NOT IN THE KNOW, BUT should be, because if you drive, you MUST be, but if approached by flashing lights and sirens, it is your responsibility BY LAW to pull to the right side of the road, STOP and allow the emergency vehicle to pass you. ALSO, common courtesy says, allow that "blue lighter" to go first because HE/SHE might be going to YOUR HOUSE to put out a fire, or at the least, getting the equipment to PUT out the fire.

THOSE Blue headlights you see are ILLEGAL (if they show blue on a white piece of paper). If they show WHITE, it is passable by PENN DOT. As of January 2006, this is directly from The State Police inspections branch.
